The Texas Corvette Association (TCA) located in San Antonio, Texas welcomes you to our website. We are proud to say that 2011 marks the 32nd year of our organization which was founded in 1979 by two Corvette enthusiasts. Today, the TCA has grown to well over 300 active members.
We invite you to come join us and become a member too! If you’d prefer to just “check us out†first, you can come to one of our meetings as a Visitor before deciding to join. There will be plenty of Officers and Members present to tell you about our Club. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at Biff Buzby’s Burgers restaurant, 12702 Toepperwein Road, in northeast San Antonio (78233). Arrive by 7:00pm and be sure to ask for Jerry Smith, our club Vice-President, or any Officer-at-Large who is there, and they will welcome you to our meeting. The meetings start at 7:30pm and typically last about an hour. Additional membership information can be found by clicking on the Membership link on our website Home Page.
The primary purpose of our organization is the promotion of Corvette enthusiasm through planned road trips (tours), social gatherings, support of local charities, and promotion of driving safely on the public highways. We offer something for everyone, from social gatherings, dinner events, road rallies, car shows, local parades, performance events, restoration parties, National Corvette Museum (NCM) caravans, and much, much more. Once you become a member, you will have opportunities to participate in these fun activities which occur frequently throughout the year. By clicking on our Activities link, you can see our meeting schedule and planned activities on our monthly calendar.
The TCA is an independent, 501(c)(7) Tax-Exempt organization and is not affiliated with any national or state organization. While we are an independent association, many in our club are individual members of national Corvette associations such as the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS), the National Corvette Owners Association (NCOA), and the National Corvette Museum (NCM) in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As a club, the TCA is a Lifetime Member and a strong supporter of the NCM. Our annual contribution to the NCM helps ensure the preservation of the Corvette’s history and continuing improvements to the facility. We also provide support to various local charities and hold an annual fundraising car show event for St. Jude's Ranch for Children.
Through the involvement of our many new and longstanding members, the TCA is a vibrant, fun, relaxing and ever-evolving social organization. Our members are proud of their many generations of Corvettes and love driving, displaying and telling stories about them.
If the Texas Corvette Association sounds interesting to you, and you are a current or potential Corvette owner, we invite you to join our organization. First year memberships are only $60 per couple, or $50 per individual.
