The Alfa Romeo SZ was a one-off production
sports car designed and built by Zagato.
Styling was extraordinary even by Zagato's standard, but
many regarded it as ugly. The chassis was based on the
rear-wheel-drive Alfa 75, with tuned 210 hp 2-valve 3.0
V6 engine and rear-mounted transaxle gearbox.
As could be expected by such an engine, the performance
and handling were exceptional. A convertible was also
available under the designation "RZ".
